Renew Airport Prescreening

How To Renew TSA Pre

You can renew your prescreen membership up to 6 months in advance without losing any remaining months. It’s easy to renew your membership online. All you must do is fill out the renewal application and pay the IVT service fee. We will pay the U.S. government background and security checks on your behalf using the card listed on your application form. Most applicants are not called to interview when they renew their Prescreen membership, however some people are asked to arrange an interview at an enrollment center of their choice. This usually happens if your documents or personal data has changed. We can arrange the interview for you at a time and date convenient to you.

IVT offers paid-assistance with services offered by the government. You can apply directly with the government for a fee of $85. We charge a processing fee of $139.99 if you use our checking and processing service. It may take hours and if you make a mistake your application can be denied.
Existing members of Trusted Traveler programs like Global Entry, NEXUS, and SENTRI don’t need to apply. You can fast-track security by adding your PASSID into the Known Traveler field when you book an airline ticket.

Children under 12 accompanied by their parents/guardians who are already Prescreen members do not need to join the program.

Members of the military including retired members don’t need to join the program. Just enter your DoD number when you book your flight tickets.

THE TRUSTED TRAVEL INTERVIEW

There’s no getting away from the compulsory interview!
It doesn’t matter who you are or how old you are, everyone has to attend an interview.

Once the government have finished their background checks they will decide if you are a low-threat traveler or not. If you’ve listed any convictions or criminal charges on your application, you’re unlikely to get approved – even if the charges have been expunged. Similarly, if you’ve ever committed any immigration or custom’s offences, you’re unlikely to be accepted onto the program.

Interviews last 10 minutes for TSA Pre. Other programs take 30 minutes. They take place at  at one of the official enrollment centers located all over the USA as well as in Canada and at other international destinations.
